Japanese temari ball (Embroidered Ornamental Ball): 'Sea salt and mocha'
Temari (手まり) balls are a folk art form and Japanese craft, designed with elegance and sometimes mathematics.
This temari is a version of traditional "菊" pattern and made with cotton threads. I have never tried to use blue and brown color sets together until this one. It turn out to be a surprise, not bed at all!
The diameter of this ball is about 3.2inch, with a circumference of 10 inch.
By the way, I think I will never let cat or dog's paws and teeth touch these balls (again), even though these balls are really attractive to them (also to me).
